This course has been approved for 1.0 technical continuing education credit (#1701). This course was first presented by Regenesis as a live webinar in March 2020 but did not offer LSP credits.
Course Description: This course will discuss lessons learned from a decade of experience working with PFAS contaminants in groundwater, specifically developing sampling programs and interpreting PFAS analytical data and focus on a few of those lessons including:
- How to create a custom sampling program, demonstrated by a case study of an environmental site.
- Describing a method you can use to sort the chaos out of your data.
- How to determine whether a product contains PFAS by looking at a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Following the Antea speakers, Dr. Thoreson will spend 15 minutes discussing the strategy of using colloidal activated carbon in situ, some key considerations for using colloidal activated carbon and how you might make a determination if this is a possible choice for your site or not, and briefly cover a field case study including results.
Registration Process: Once you complete your registration form for the course, you will receive two emails from the LSPA:
- Your registration confirmation which also acts as a paid receipt.
