Join the LSPA

Membership in the LSPA connects you to a strong network of LSPs and other environmental professionals and offers valuable benefits year-round. All memberships run on the calendar year (January–December).

  • Advocacy: The LSPA advocates on behalf of the waste site cleanup profession in Massachusetts, interfacing with MassDEP, the LSP Board of Registration, and the Massachusetts state legislature.

2026 Membership Rates:

  • Full Membership–$200: This rate is for Massachusetts LSPs.
  • Associate Membership–$150: This rate is for non-LSPs in related fields (environmental professionals, lab staff, attorneys, risk assessors, contractors, etc.).
  • Public Agency & Non-Profit Membership–$30: This rate is for those employed by regulatory agencies or allied non-profit organizations.
  • Emeritus Membership–$30: This rate is for long-time members who are retired and wish to stay engaged (no longer carrying an active license).
  • Student Membership–$30: This rate is for students and educators in environmental and pollution abatement fields at accredited institutions.
  • Job Seeker Membership –$30: This rate is for individuals currently seeking employment in the environmental industry. Use promo code jobseeker at checkout.

New! 2027 Membership Rates:

The LSPA will be updating its membership model and rates for 2027 memberships and beyond. The following rates will be effect when renewals/joins begin in November 2026:
  • LSPA Membership–$200: Environmental professionals working in waste site cleanup regardless of licensure status.
  • Emerging Professional Membership–$100: Professionals within their first eight years in waste site cleanup.
  • Government Membership–$60: Professionals working at federal, state, or municipal government agencies regardless of licensure status.
  • Emeritus Membership–$30: This rate is for long-time members who are retired and wish to stay engaged (no longer carrying an active license).
  • Student Membership–$30: This rate is for students and educators in environmental and pollution abatement fields at accredited institutions.
