LSPA Environmental Symposium 2024 

The LSPA looks forward to hosting our Environmental Symposium on April 10 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, 1657 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA. Courses will be ongoing throughout the day; attend all or pick and choose as you wish. Please see the schedule here. 

What You Need to Know

• Parking: There is plenty of free on-site parking at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, Framingham, MA.
  

• Vendor Exhibits: There will be several symposium sponsors exhibiting throughout the day and available for discussions/questions.
  

• No Virtual Attendance: The symposium will be an in-person only event - no virtual attendance options are available. The LSPA will record each presentation and, depending on several factors, hopes to reformat them into on-demand courses at a later date. 

• Food: Breakfast and lunch are included in the cost of course registration. Should you wish to attend either of these meals, please make the appropriate selection when completing the registration form so we can have an accurate head count. We are also hosting a reception before the evening's member meeting, please make the appropriate selection on the registration form.   

• Seating Capacity: This is an in-person event and capacity will be limited to 120 seats per course. The evening Membership Meeting presentation, "PFAS in MA Drinking Water Supplies and Surface Waters: An Overview and Two Case Studies," will be capped at 200 people. The LSPA will manage a wait list for each individual event. The wait list will be capped at 50 people.

• Standalone Presentations: Each presentation is being treated as an individual event. Therefore, each of the following tasks will be handled on a course-by-course basis, electronically:
• Registration and payment - there is no full day or half-day symposium pass
• Course materials will be sent by email in advance
• Wait lists and cancellations
• Evaluations
• CEU Distribution 

• CEU Certificates: CEU Certificates for all events held at the symposium will be distributed electronically through the Learning Management System (LMS) a few days after the event. For example, if you attended three events during the Symposium, you will receive a separate email for each event notifying you when the CEU Certificate is available for download. The downloadable PDF will contain all available CEU certificates (MA LSP, CT LEP and NY PE/PG). Just print the CEUs that pertain to you.

• Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please note that the LSPA Cancellation Policy will be enforced.
