MCP Guidance to Go: What You Need to Know

When: Thursday, April 27, 2023  
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM  EST 

In addition to the MCP, the LSP Board of Registration advises candidates for the LSP exam to focus their preparation time on MassDEP’s final and draft guidance. Even if you are not planning to take the LSP exam (anytime soon or ever), your work will benefit from your familiarity with and understanding of MassDEP guidance documents. The LSPA’s Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) wants to support you in this endeavor.  

Over the next several months, the EPC will host MCP Guidance to Go: What You Need To Know gatherings. The second session is coming up. For each session attended, you will receive a certificate from the LSPA.

WHEN: Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. LSPA will provide food and beverages.

WHAT: An informal gathering to discuss MassDEP’s 2014 Draft Guidance on Implementing Activity and Use Limitations as well as a MassDEP’s 2017 AUL Compliance Reminder

WHERE: Woodard & Curran, 250 Royall Street, Canton, MA. Onsite parking is available. The meeting will be in the first floor community conference center.

The MCP Guidance To Go sessions will provide time to network, hear from a topic expert and discuss the guidance as a group along with Q & As.

Here’s the general schedule:

  • 5:00 PM - Eating and socializing
  • 5:20 PM - EPC welcome and introductions
  • 5:30 PM - Topic expert provides overview of the guidance  
  • 6:00 PM - Discussion and Q & A; please read the guidance beforehand and come prepared with your questions, including site- specific situations to discuss
  • 7:00 PM - Adjourn
