Course Description:

Environmental forensics focuses on determining contaminant sources. It employs a toolbox filled with traditional and emerging techniques to evaluate a constantly growing list of substances that are regulated at progressively lower concentrations. Environmental forensics complements other investigation strategies by using standard and alternative testing methods to identify and track regulated contaminants and co-occurring non-regulated marker compounds in various media. A basic understanding of environmental forensics is an important enhancement to an LSP’s skill set. The course outline is presented below. Time for Questions and Answers is built into each of the six course parts.
