This course is being held during the LSPA Environmental Symposium 2025. Details on the day's events can be found here.

Course Description:

This course will introduce the new Compendium of Analytical Methods (CAM) Protocol for PFAS analysis, based on EPA Method 1633. The course will include multiple perspectives from the laboratory, the data user, and the regulator. Importantly, this new protocol allows LSPs to achieve Presumptive Certainty for PFAS data.

The presenter from Pace will discuss the analytical method and explain what data users should expect to see in the CAM deliverable. The presenter from TRC will discuss interpretation of the laboratory deliverable and what may result in the loss of presumptive certainty. The MassDEP presenter will discuss MassDEP expectations with respect to PFAS data. Fifteen minutes is set aside for Questions & Answers with all instructors.
