This week, I will present at the NextGen Session during the 42nd AEHS Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy. I've been asked to share my journey, which means I'll talk about the twists, turns, unexpected detours, successes, mistakes, and the moments that led me to become an environmental professional and ultimately an LSP.
If there's one thing I hope attendees take away, it's this: this is a great profession. Every day, we get the chance to solve problems, protect public health, restore the environment, work with incredible people, and make a tangible difference in our communities. It isn't always easy, but it's meaningful work, and that's a pretty dope thing.
