LSPA Legislation on Home Heating Oil SpillsOver 500,000 Massachusetts homeowners are at risk because insurance does not cover the cost of cleaning up home heating oil spills. The LSPA is working with state legislators to require that insurers automatically provide specialized liquid fuel release coverage to all homeowners. - Read more details in our fact sheet. The LSPA has, once again, filed our bill in the House and Senate (H1302 and S813, respectively). The bill passed the Senate twice, but has not moved beyond the House Committee on Ways and Means.
