MassDEP’s Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) Program

 FY26-27 Opportunity

Application Deadline: August 29, 2025 

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup, is currently accepting applications for it’s FY26-27 Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) funding opportunity. The TAG Program provides $200,000 in funding, with awards of up to $20,000 each, to support community and municipal groups in enhancing public participation in decisions related to the assessment and cleanup of oil or hazardous waste disposal sites. TAG recipients may use funds to access expert advice and technical assistance, and to facilitate community education efforts for qualifying projects. 

Application deadline:  5pm on August 29, 2025
