The LSPA received the following email from MassDEP Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup on June 30, 2025: 

MassDEP has published a number of new Compendium of Analytical Methods (CAM) protocols and materials at https://www.mass.gov/info-details/compendium-of-analytical-methods-cam.

These documents include:

• New CAM – X A - Analysis of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) by Liquid Chromatography/Dual Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), based on USEPA Method 1633
• Revised CAM VII A – QA and QC Guidelines for the Acquisition and Reporting of Analytical Data in Support of Response Actions Conducted under the MCP
• Significant Changes to CAM VII A Document
• Stand-alone MCP Analytical Services Request Form
• Stand-alone MassDEP Analytical Protocol Certification Form

The effective date of these new protocols and materials is September 30, 2025, though they may be used prior to this effective date.
