Information from MassDEP regarding eDEP Updates

The LSPA received the following information from MassDEP regarding eDEP Updates. Please read carefully!

July 28, 2016 New, revised BWSC104 Permanent and Temporary Solution Statement Form

Beginning on or about Thursday, July 28, 2016, MassDEP will release a revised BWSC104 Permanent and Temporary Solution Statement Form in eDEP.

The new form will include additions to Section E that will include questions related to Active Exposure Pathway Mitigation Measures (AEPMM) for:

  • Certain Permanent Solutions with Conditions (Section E2a) and;
  • Temporary Solutions (Section E3)

The additions allow for easier identification of those Permanent or Temporary Solutions that rely on AEPMMs.

What to expect:

If you are submitting either a Permanent Solution or Temporary Solution that relies on an AEPMM, you will now be required to indicate that is the case.

Please note, there are no other changes to the form.

 This is really important:

If you want to avoid having to restart any BWSC104 Form that you may have in progress, PLEASE COMPLETE AND SUBMIT ANY BWSC104 FORMS THAT YOU HAVE “IN PROGRESS” BY MIDNIGHT ON Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Once the new forms are “live”, any older versions that are in progress will become obsolete and will fail if they are submitted.

Beginning July 28, 2016 make sure you are only using the NEW version of these forms.

A PDF version of the new form has been posted to MassDEP’s website at http://www.mass.gov/eea/agencies/massdep/cleanup/approvals/waste-site-cleanup-forms.html.

For questions regarding the revised BWSC104 Form or any other eDEP form, e-mail the BWSC eDEP mailbox at [email protected].
