New Information from LSP Board on License Renewals

As of this morning, the LSP Board has new information regarding LSP license renewals on its website. That information is copied below.

RESCISSION OF ORDER

Effective immediately, Governor Charles Baker has rescinded the March 18, 2020, COVID-19 Order No. 9, that granted license extensions to LSPs.  Pursuant to the new order, COVID-19 ORDER NO. 41, LSP licenses that were extended by Order No. 9, will remain valid through October 1, 2020.  This October 2020, extension applies to all April 2020, Renewal Applications as well as 90-day extensions of expiration dates granted by the Board on January 14, 2020, and February 11, 2020.  LSP licenses that expire on July 30, 2020,are not extended.  Therefor, all July 2020, Applications to Renew LSP Licenses and July 2020, 90-day extension requests must meet the requirements of 309 CMR 3.06(2) or 309 CMR 3.06(5) by close of business on July 30th.  The LSP Board will by majority vote, take action to extend licenses covered by COVID-19 ORDER NO. 41 at its July 22, 2020, virtual meeting.
